I'm guessing I'm the only one with this issue from osx Lion to Dlink DSM G600 RevB ? i always use smb to access the NAS in the previous versions. since Apple made changes to smb, no longer can access the NAS at all. There is one band aid fix " To turn on DHCAST128″ which doesnt work for me either. Anyone on this forum has other tricks? I ended up using Sala's customized firmware at this point, but still not working. I'm not too keen on install other linux boot , since I want to use all the space.
DSM G600 RevB
Sala's custom firmware
120 GB HDD formatted as ext3
No USB attached
OSX Lion on mac unable to access NAS
Unable to store large files from windows (nothing > 2 gb? i have to ftp instead of drag and drop)
Unable to store double byte character file names
Any help is appreciated.
Heyho.. if this is still an issue:
Although I am not shure if it covers your problem, check out the reactivation of legacy-smb in Lion (doesn't work with Mountain Lion!):
sudo sysctl -w net.smb.fs.kern_deprecatePreXPServers=0 mount_smbfs..
